AdlerAerospace was built for that requirement. Our role is to identify the most consequential operational gaps, bring together best-in-class technologies and teams, own the mission architecture, and deliver integrated capability across the full unmanned and counter-unmanned mission cycle. Moving supplies, sensors, communications, and mission payloads through dangerous environments remains slow, expensive, and personnel-intensive. Autonomous lift can reduce exposure and extend operational reach.

The counter-UAS cost exchange

How We Operate

AdlerAerospace uses a capital-efficient operating model designed for the pace of modern defense. We maintain responsibility for system architecture, mission integration, customer requirements, validation, and scale-up while working with specialist engineering and manufacturing partners across the United States and allied nations.

This model compresses development timelines, reduces unnecessary fixed-cost burden, enables production localization, and lets proven component technologies advance together rather than waiting for a single vertically integrated organization to invent every layer.

  1. Mission before novelty. We begin with the operational problem and the cost, speed, range, survivability, and interoperability the user actually needs.
  2. Integration is a core product. Airframes, payloads, sensors, effectors, communications, software, and command tools must function as one mission system.
  3. Scale is designed in early. Manufacturability, supply chain, training, sustainment, and production partners are considered before a demonstration becomes a procurement requirement.
  4. Open systems win coalitions. Our architectures are designed to integrate with allied workflows, preserve customer choice, and support rapid technology insertion.
  5. Autonomy accelerates action; humans retain authority. We use autonomy to compress timelines and reduce workload while preserving accountable human control for mission-critical decisions.
  6. Allied industrial resilience matters. Distributed engineering and manufacturing create speed, redundancy, localization options, and a stronger Western defense base.

Validated Through Demanding Programs and Operators

AdlerAerospace advances through an execution pathway: demonstration, evaluation, pilot program, procurement, and lifecycle support. Public milestones include:

  1. Selection for the DARPA Lift Challenge, focused on transformational vertical-lift capability for demanding military and humanitarian logistics missions.
  2. Selection for the U.S. Department of Defense Drone Dominance Program Gauntlet II qualifier, bringing together combat-informed design, mission integration, experienced operators, and American manufacturing capacity.
  3. Successful participation in NATO BATT25 and mTIE25 in Latvia, where AdlerAerospace fielded a multi-system ISR and counter-UAS package; the company team was recognized as the top Blue Team C-UAS unit in its public after-action account.
  4. Evaluation activity involving the Royal Navy, Swedish Marines, and Ukrainian defense operators, providing mission feedback across maritime, contested, and counter-UAS environments.
  5. Public launch of the TALOS autonomous interceptor family at UMEX 2026 in Abu Dhabi and subsequent international defense-media coverage.
  6. Demonstrations and engagements across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, including SOF Week, Thailand, Czechia, Denmark, and allied defense audiences.

Founder-Led, Built to Execute

AdlerAerospace is led by founder and CEO Wilhelm Meya, a pilot, serial founder, and institution builder with more than 25 years of experience building technology organizations, leading government-facing programs, and creating international partnerships.

Before AdlerAerospace, Meya built and led mission-driven organizations that worked across countries, cultures, public agencies, academic institutions, and the United Nations ecosystem. That background shapes AdlerAerospace’s operating philosophy today: understand the mission deeply, bring together exceptional specialists, build trust across borders, preserve capital, and move relentlessly from concept to fielded result.

His founder mandate is to translate fast-moving operational innovation into a disciplined, scalable Western defense enterprise – one that can earn operator confidence, integrate across allied systems, and build long-term enterprise value.
