Just back from the DSEI defense conference in London — always impressive to see how NATO and allied partners are moving forward to address the fast-changing threat landscape facing Europe and the U.S.
The show was full of innovation, but it also underscored that we still have much work ahead. In particular, Ukraine continues to demonstrate that pragmatic, lower-cost, rapidly adaptable solutions may prove most decisive against the ubiquitous and low-cost UAV threat.
I had a series of excellent meetings and new connections, and left encouraged by the creativity and determination across the industry. In the end, I believe it’s exactly that Western creativity and resourcefulness that will allow us to prevail.
